Pam Villa was born & raised in Seattle, WA and moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2016 to start Champion Swim School in an area that needs it the most. Her aquatic background includes being a swim instructor for 30 accumulative years, managing swim schools for 9 years, while also coaching swim team, managing community pools & teaching Red Cross Lifeguard classes. She currently is certified Red Cross WSI, First Aid/CPR. She also holds a current Certified Pool Operator certificate.
She is a University of Washington graduate with a degree in Communications. She has worked in the sports department for NBC; in the complaint department at the Better Business Bureau; and in the marketing department for Emeritus Assisted Living.
Pam enjoys exploring Florida with her two grown children and travels as often as possible. Building Champion Swim School is her passion and water safety is her mission.

Meet the Founder & Owner
Certification
Lifeguard / CPR / First Aid
Champion Swim Instructors are certified in Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid. This is a 25-hour course that prepares for water emergencies for infants, children and adults.
Champion Method Training
Champion Swim Instructors spend 20 hours in training with the owner and seasoned instructors before taking their own classes. They attend monthly in-service trainings to stay up to date in technique training.
Certification
Swim Instructors are certified in Red Cross WSI and
CPR / First Aid.
Each instructor additionally has 20 hours of in water training with our ongoing classes before leading their own classes.
Monthly in-service trainings are held to give ongoing training.
